Mix the Fry Bread ingredients together. (A food processor works well;
add the water last, with care.) Pat out dough in flour and fry rounds
in 1 to 2 inches of oil at 350° until brown.
- Fry Bread (approx. 4)
- 1/4 C sugar
- 2 C flour
- 3 t baking powder
- 1 t salt
- 1 C water (or just enough to make a soft dough)
- oil for frying
- Taco Toppings
- refried beans
- 1 lb. ground buffalo w. taco seasonings to taste
- chopped tomatoes, lettuce and grated cheese
- guacamole, sour cream and salsa
Brown the ground buffalo with seasonings, then stir in refried beans.
Spread on Fry Bread and add remaining toppings as desired.
