

Aunt Barbara's Blueberry Buckle

- 3/4 C sugar
- 1/4 C soft shortening
- 1 egg
- 1/2 C milk
- 2 C flour
- 2 t baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- at least 2 C fresh blueberries, preferably wild
- Topping
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1/3 C flour
- 1/2 t cinnamon
- 1/4 C soft butter or magarine
Combine and blend the sugar, shortening, egg, milk, flour, baking powder
and salt in a mixing bowl. Blend in the blueberries. Place the mixture in a
cake pan, 8 inches square or so. Separately combine the Topping ingredients,
and sprinkle them on top. Bake 45 - 50 minutes at 375°.
