Recipe for the week of December 26 - January 1
Happy Holidays Everyone!
- Well, I'm taking it easy for a week so this will be brief. Here's a
soup with a holiday spirit that I made playing around with WinCA
(see the first location in my kitchen
sink, which is now back in business after a nasty disk crash). I
started by running a Larger than Life rule which makes a Poisson
smattering of nice, symmetric crystals starting from a uniform two-color
mix. I then changed to a Greenberg-Hastings rule in order to make
'ornaments' from the crystal seeds, stopping after a few GH updates. This
was mainly for effect, but illustrates the ease with which one can change
dynamics 'on the fly' in WinCA. See you next week...
